For David and Shawn | Hotspot

Hey David and Shawn, Garrett here from Fresh Cup Magazine / RoasterLink with a few recommendations for roasters in our network who might be a good fit for HotSpot. Each of these three suppliers have sophisticated supply chain and roasting operations capable of delivering the volume and reliability you’re looking for.

I’ll be giving these roasters your information so they can follow-up as well.

Peace Coffee

Peace is primarily a wholesale operation with a far-reaching grocery/retail footprint. You’ve likely seen some of their coffee around. They’re well-known for their sustainability and ethical standards and all coffees are Certified Organic and Fair Trade.

Summit Coffee

Summit is a Davidson, NC-based cafe franchise chain that’s growing quickly. We hosted Brian (CEO) at a coffee expo panel last year and I can say he’s a very savvy operator with a great team. There will likely be meaningful shipping cost advantages to working with a partner so close.

Texas Coffee Traders

TCT is a well-established roaster here in Texas with a strong footprint nationally. Brand new facility, lots of capacity. They also have the broadest range of coffee flavors and prices of our three recommendations.
