In an effort to promote diversity in the coffee sector and provide increased opportunities to everyone throughout the coffee supply chain, Boot Coffee Campus announced a new scholarship program designed for individuals within the coffee industry who are currently underrepresented or under-resourced. Scholarships will be awarded to applicants in each of three new categories: #ShesTheRoaster, Producing Country, and Social Enterprise. The three full-tuition scholarships can be applied to Boot Coffee Campus programs or SCA Coffee Skills Program courses, and include course registration and materials for up to one week of training, exams, SCA certificate fees, and lunch during each day of the course. Applications for scholarships will be accepted until February 28, and will be awarded in March. For a full list of requirements, and information on the application process, visit bootcoffee.com.
