[T]he Numi Foundation, created by Numi Organic Tea, Inc., received a $75,000 donation from Presence Marketing and its co-founder, Bill Weiland. The funds will be used to support the Foundation’s three key programs: the NUMI Curriculum Program, which brings imaginative art and nature-based curriculum to children in inner city schools; Together for H2OPE, a non-profit program bringing clean, safe drinking water to farming communities around the world; and Iraq Summer School, which supports underserved Iraqi students, many of whom are orphans and war victims, through a summer learning program to fill the achievement gap.
